About
A small consultancy that builds like a serious one.
Yarqat is a UK-registered, engineer-led software and AI consultancy. The people who win the work are the people who do it, and who stay on the pager after it ships.
What we are, plainly
Yarqat LTD is a software and AI engineering consultancy registered in the United Kingdom. We are not a staffing agency that resells hours, and we are not a large firm that wins enterprise logos and delivers with juniors. We are a senior team that takes on systems where getting it wrong is expensive, and treats that responsibility as the job.
Most of what goes wrong in enterprise software is decided in the first two weeks, in architecture nobody wrote down. So that is where we spend the time. We decide the hard things early, in writing, and we stay accountable for them through delivery and into operation, because a team that owns the incident designs differently from one that hands over and leaves.
We would rather tell you the boring, proven option is the right one than win a bigger contract with a riskier one. That judgement is what a consultancy is actually for.

What we build
Our work spans 85 services, organised into a handful of practices. One senior team owns the whole stack, so the architecture, the build and the operations answer to the same people, and nothing falls into the gap between vendors.
Production-grade AI systems, from LLM applications and agentic workflows to custom model pipelines that hold up under real enterprise load.
Platforms, ERPs and internal systems designed around how your organisation actually operates, not how the software vendor thinks it should.
Architecture, migration and management across AWS, Azure and GCP, engineered for resilience, cost discipline and audit-ready security.
Pipelines, warehouses and streaming infrastructure that turn scattered operational data into something a business can actually decide on.
Server hardening, penetration testing and secure-by-default configuration, protection engineered in, not bolted on.
Legacy modernisation with a roadmap, not a rewrite, phased delivery that keeps the business running while the foundation changes underneath it.
Senior engineers who join your rituals, your tooling and your standards. Scale from one specialist to a full delivery team without a hiring cycle.
Where AI actually earns its place
We build AI as architecture, not as a prompt in a text box, and we are just as willing to tell you where it does not pay for itself in your operation.
- LLM applications
- Retrieval, evaluation and guardrails designed as first-class architecture, not a prompt in a text box.
- Agentic workflows
- Systems that take actions against your real infrastructure, with the audit trail and rollback path that implies.
- Model pipelines
- Training, fine-tuning and serving infrastructure that survives contact with production traffic and procurement review.
- AI enablement
- Where AI genuinely pays for itself in your operation, and, more usefully, where it does not.

The industries we know
Domain knowledge changes what gets built. These are the sectors we understand before the first meeting, so the conversation starts with your constraints, not with us learning them on your budget.

- Fintech & Financial Services
- Real Estate & PropTech
- Construction
- Energy
- Government & Public Sector
- Logistics & Supply Chain
- Aviation
- Hospitality
- Retail
- Manufacturing
- Education
- Legal
- Telecommunications

- Event Management
- Human Capital Management
- Agriculture
How we work
Four stages, and the same team carries you through all of them. There is no handoff from the people who sold the work to the people who do it, because there is no one else.
- 01
Discover
Before we commit to a line of code, we learn the system as it actually is, the constraints, the business it serves, and the parts nobody wrote down. Most of what goes wrong is decided here, so this is where we spend the time.
- 02
Architect
The hard decisions get made early, in writing, and defended before production exists. A decision record means the next engineer inherits the reasoning, not just the result.
- 03
Build
Short cycles against working software. You see progress in the product, not in a status deck, and every merge is gated by automated tests and a second senior engineer.
- 04
Operate
Shipping is not the exit. We stay on the pager with monitoring, incident response and iteration, because a team that owns the incident designs differently from one that hands over and leaves.
How we’re different
Engineer-led, always
You talk to the people writing the code. No account manager relaying requirements to a team you never meet.
Senior by default
We do not staff juniors against your budget and call it a team. Every engineer on your project has shipped systems at scale.
We operate what we build
Handover is not an exit. We stay on the pager, because a team that owns the incident designs differently from one that does not.
Available in your hours
Our team is distributed, so we cover your working day rather than asking you to bend to ours. A real daily overlap for standups, reviews and incident response.
How we build, specifically
- Version control
- Trunk-based, reviewed by a second senior engineer
- Testing
- Automated suites gate every merge, no exceptions for deadlines
- Infrastructure
- Declared as code. Nothing is configured by hand in a console
- Security
- Dependency scanning, secret management, least-privilege by default
- Observability
- Structured logs, traces and alerts shipped with the feature
- Documentation
- Architecture decisions recorded, so the next engineer inherits reasoning
Ways to work with us
One senior team, three shapes of engagement. We start with a technical conversation and a paid discovery phase, then stay month-to-month, retained by the work being worth continuing, not by a lock-in clause.
Ongoing product development
Dedicated team
A standing team that works only on your product, in your rituals and your tooling. Best when the roadmap outlives the project.
Filling a capability gap
Staff augmentation
Named senior engineers embedded into your existing team, reporting into your leads. Best when you know what to build and need capacity.
Outcome-owned delivery
Software outsourcing
A defined outcome delivered end-to-end by an accountable team. Best when you want the result owned, not just the hours filled.
Questions people ask about us
Is Yarqat a real, registered company?
Yarqat LTD trades from 128 City Road, London, and the UK registration is being put back on a current footing, so we are not publishing a company number we would then ask you to check. You can reach the company directly on +44 7588 210897 or through the contact page, and the founder is named with his own history on the founder page. If you need the registration details for procurement, ask and we will send you exactly where it stands.
Who founded Yarqat?
Yarqat was founded by Shah Fahad, a self-taught engineer who spent years building software for other people and ran his own hosting company before starting Yarqat. It was built on that prior engineering and operations experience rather than starting from zero, which is why the delivery is senior from the first conversation.
What does Yarqat actually do?
Yarqat is a software and AI engineering consultancy. We architect, build and operate custom software, AI systems, cloud infrastructure and data platforms, 85 services in total. We take on systems where getting it wrong is expensive and treat that responsibility as the job.
Which technologies and industries do you work in?
We work across 100 technologies, from application frameworks and cloud platforms to AI and data tooling, chosen per problem rather than per fashion. We bring domain knowledge to 37 sectors, so we understand the constraints of your industry before the first meeting.
How is Yarqat different from a typical agency?
You talk to the engineers who write the code, not an account manager. We staff senior by default, we operate what we build instead of handing over and leaving, and we would rather recommend the boring, proven option than win a bigger contract with a riskier one. The judgement is the product.
Tell us what cannot fail.
A technical conversation with the engineers who would do the work. If we are not the right fit, we will say so on the call.
- 01A senior engineer reads it. Not a form queue, and not an account manager.
- 02We reply either with questions or with a straight answer that we are not the right fit.
- 03If it looks like a fit, a technical call with the person who would actually run the delivery.
- 04Then scope, effort and risk in writing, before anyone signs anything.
