Software for Rawalpindi businesses, built next door in Islamabad

We build software for Rawalpindi traders, housing societies and clinics from our office in E-11/2, Islamabad, a short drive away. There is no Rawalpindi office, and at this distance there is no need for one.

Part of our work across Pakistan: software house in Pakistan

§ 01

The market

Building software for Rawalpindi

Rawalpindi is the older of the twin cities, and it still runs on trade. Raja Bazaar, Saddar and the wholesale markets around Committee Chowk do business the way they always have: in cash, on credit, and through relationships that go back decades. It is a cantonment city, home to large teaching hospitals such as Holy Family and Benazir Bhutto Hospital, and to PMAS Arid Agriculture University and Fatima Jinnah Women University. The Metro Bus ties it to Islamabad, and several of the big housing societies, Bahria Town and the DHA phases among them, spread across both cities.

We should be clear about where we are. Our office is in E-11/2, Islamabad, a short drive from most of Rawalpindi, and we do not have a Rawalpindi address. In practice the distance barely registers. We can sit with you in your shop, your society office or your clinic to see how the work really happens, and you can come to us whenever that is easier. You contract with a Pakistani company, invoices are in rupees, and we keep the same working hours as you do.

What Rawalpindi businesses need from software is rarely what a packaged ERP assumes. A wholesaler's real system is the khata, the credit ledger that records who owes what and who can be trusted with more. A housing society lives on plot files, instalment schedules and transfers. A clinic near the big hospitals lives on its queue. We build around those realities, keep the parts of the business that already work, and digitise the parts that are costing you money through disputes, lost paperwork and evenings spent reconciling registers.

§ 02

What is specific

What building for Rawalpindi actually requires

  • Housing society software, from file to possession

Plots in the twin cities change hands as files long before anyone takes possession, so a society office has to know who holds each file, which instalments are paid, and whether a transfer or a no-demand certificate can be issued. Add ballots, member ledgers and surcharge rules and it is a serious financial system. We build it with an audit trail on every transfer, because a disputed file is a disputed sum of money.

  • A khata that stays a relationship

Traders in the old city extend credit on judgement: who has paid on time for years, who is good for another consignment. Digitising the ledger should leave that judgement with the owner and remove the arguments over balances. Customers can get a running statement on WhatsApp, staff record sales on the phone they already carry, with item names spelt the way they actually type them, often in Roman Urdu, and the owner sees total exposure at a glance.

  • Clinics and labs that run on a queue

The big teaching hospitals draw patients from well beyond the city, and the private clinics and diagnostic labs nearby feel that pressure too. Useful software here is modest: a token system that tells patients when to come in, lab reports sent to the patient's phone with their consent, and records only the right staff can open. It also has to survive load-shedding, so it keeps working offline and syncs when the power returns.

Working together

How working with us goes from Rawalpindi

  1. 01

    We come and look first

A free first conversation, then a visit to your shop, godown, society office or clinic. A day of real work tells us more than any requirements document, and from E-11 it is a short drive.

  2. 02

Money and credit mapped before screens

We trace how money, credit and paper actually move: instalments, balances, transfers, returns. The screens come after, once we know which numbers must always agree.

  3. 03

A first version your staff actually use

A small release on the phones and computers you already own, used by your own people during normal trading hours. We adjust it to how they work instead of training them to fit it.

  4. 04

Everything is yours at the end

The software, the data and the documentation belong to you, with an export for anything you might need elsewhere. If you later want a different supplier, nothing stops you.

Services

What we build for Rawalpindi clients

Project delivery, owned end to end. We take on the outcome rather than supplying engineering hours.

Working with Yarqat in Rawalpindi

Do you have an office in Rawalpindi?

No. Our only office is in E-11/2, Islamabad, a short drive from most of Rawalpindi, and we will not invent a local address. For the twin city it makes little practical difference. We are glad to meet at your premises in Saddar, Satellite Town or anywhere else in the city, or at our office if you prefer, and most day-to-day work happens on calls and in shared tools anyway.

Can you build software for a housing society?

Yes. A society system usually covers the file register, instalment schedules with surcharges, transfers and no-demand certificates, ballots, possession, and a member ledger that always balances. Members can check dues and download statements online, and a verification page lets a buyer confirm a file is genuine before paying for it. Every change to a file is logged, because in a society the records are the assets.

We run the business on a khata. Will software change how we deal with customers?

Only if you want it to. The aim is to keep credit decisions where they are, with you, and end the disputes about balances. Each sale and payment is recorded once, customers get their statement on WhatsApp whenever they ask, and you can see who is overdue without flicking through registers. It runs on an ordinary Android phone and copes with a weak signal.

Is our business too small for custom software?

Sometimes, and we will say so. If an off-the-shelf point-of-sale or accounting app fits how you work, buying it costs less than anything we would build. Custom software earns its cost when the process is genuinely your own: credit terms that vary by customer, stock spread over several godowns, wholesale price tiers, or society rules no packaged product understands.

Can you build a token and reporting system for a clinic or lab?

Yes. A typical build covers patient registration, a token or appointment queue that can message patients when they are next, lab results delivered securely to the patient, and billing for both cash patients and those covered by an employer or insurer. Medical records get role-based access and an audit log, and the reception desk keeps working offline when power or signal drops.

Have a project in Rawalpindi?

Tell us what you are building or fixing. We work with Rawalpindi clients from our Islamabad office, in the same timezone and the same currency, and the engineer who reads this is the one who would run the delivery.

  1. 01A senior engineer reads it. Not a form queue, and not an account manager.
  2. 02We reply either with questions or with a straight answer that we are not the right fit.
  3. 03If it looks like a fit, a technical call with the person who would actually run the delivery.
  4. 04Then scope, effort and risk in writing, before anyone signs anything.

Two fields required. We reply to real enquiries. No list, no sequence.
