London · our home market
Software development company in London
A London-registered software engineering company building custom software, AI and cloud systems for UK businesses. Senior engineers, on the ground in your timezone, who deliver the work and own the outcome.
§ 01
The market
Building software for London
Yarqat is registered in London, and it is our home market. That means the thing most software buyers quietly want and rarely get: a partner in the same country, the same timezone and the same legal jurisdiction, who can sit in a room with you when it matters and is reachable when it does not.
London does not lack software companies. It lacks ones where the person selling the work is the person doing it. The city is full of agencies that win with a senior pitch and deliver with whoever is free, and full of consultancies whose day rate mostly buys a brand. We are deliberately small and senior: the engineer on your first call is the engineer running your delivery, and that constraint is the whole point rather than a stage we are trying to grow out of.
For UK clients the practical advantages compound. Contracts under English law, invoices in sterling, working hours that simply match, and the option to meet in person when a decision genuinely needs a room. None of it is exotic. It is just the friction that disappears when your software partner is actually here.
§ 02
What is specific
What building for London actually requires
Same timezone, same jurisdiction
UK working hours, English-law contracts and sterling invoicing. The overhead that comes with an offshore or overseas partner, the lag, the legal ambiguity, the currency exposure, simply is not there.
Senior by design
The person who scopes your project is the person who builds it. We do not run a senior sales team over a junior delivery bench, because the moment those two are different people the estimates drift and nobody notices until delivery.
In the room when it counts
Most work is better done remotely and we default to it, but when a decision genuinely needs everyone in one place, being London-based means that is a train, not a flight and a visa.
§ 03
Working together
How working with us goes
- 01
A technical first conversation
A free consultation with the engineer who would run the work. In person in London if it helps, on a call if that is easier.
- 02
Honest scope
The approach, the risks and a realistic effort range in writing. If the right answer is to build less, or nothing yet, we will say so.
- 03
Delivery you can see
Working software at every step, in your tooling, with the option to meet whenever a review benefits from a room.
- 04
Owned by you
Code, documentation and the ability to run it, handed over cleanly. We keep clients by being worth keeping, not by making leaving hard.
§ 04
Services
What we build for London clients
Project delivery, owned end to end. We take on the outcome rather than supplying engineering hours.
Working with Yarqat in London
Where is Yarqat based?
Yarqat is a UK company registered in London. It is our home market, so UK clients get a partner in the same timezone and the same legal jurisdiction, with the option of meeting in person when a decision calls for it.
Do you work in person or remotely?
Both, and we default to remote because most software work is genuinely better that way. Being London-based means that when a conversation truly benefits from everyone in one room, that is a straightforward thing to arrange rather than an international undertaking.
What makes you different from a London agency?
The person who sells the work is the person who does it. Many agencies win with a senior pitch and deliver with whoever is available; we are deliberately small and senior so that does not happen. The engineer on your first call runs your delivery.
What are the practical advantages of a UK-based partner?
Contracts under English law, invoices in sterling, matching working hours, and no currency or timezone friction. For a UK business these remove a layer of overhead that an offshore or overseas partner brings whether or not anyone mentions it.
What kind of work do you take on?
Project delivery: custom software, AI and machine-learning systems, web and mobile applications, cloud architecture and data platforms. We own the outcome rather than supplying engineering hours, and we build so you can operate and change what we deliver.
Have a project in London?
A technical conversation with the engineers who would do the work. If we are not the right fit, we will say so on the call.
