AI development in Karachi
We build AI and machine-learning systems for Karachi's regulated and high-volume businesses: banks, EMIs, microfinance lenders, insurers, freight forwarders and FMCG distributors. Served from our Islamabad office, with data boundaries settled before the first model call.

AI Development for Karachi
Karachi is where Pakistan's money and freight concentrate. The State Bank of Pakistan and the Pakistan Stock Exchange are headquartered here, as are most bank and insurance head offices, and the city handles the traffic of Karachi Port and Port Qasim. That concentration gives AI work here two defining features: very large transaction and document volumes, and regulators who care where customer data goes and who processes it on an institution's behalf.
For banks, EMIs and microfinance lenders the useful problems are familiar: spotting unusual transactions, extracting data from CNICs and supporting documents at onboarding, and sorting complaints that arrive in Roman Urdu, English and Urdu script. So is the constraint. The State Bank sets rules on outsourcing and technology risk that shape how a regulated entity may use a third party, an AI provider included, and your compliance team will want the design in writing. We build around that from the start, with redaction before any external call, models hosted inside your environment, or both.
Outside finance, the work is document-heavy. Freight forwarders and clearing agents retype bills of lading, commercial invoices and packing lists, often from scans or phone photos. Insurers read hospital bills and discharge summaries against policy terms. FMCG distributors forecast orders across thousands of small shops and dozens of routes. We serve Karachi from our Islamabad office in the same timezone, and when a bank or insurer wants a design review on its own premises, we fly down for it.

What is specific
Built for Karachi
Cost at Karachi volume
A fraction of a rupee per request disappears in a pilot and becomes a serious budget line at the volumes a bank, wallet or distributor processes. We model cost per request at your real volume before choosing an approach, and we often route routine cases to a small or classical model, keeping the expensive model for the cases that genuinely need it.
Regulated data stays inside the line
For entities regulated by the State Bank or the SECP, which data may reach a third-party AI service is a question for your compliance and risk functions. We give them something concrete to review: a data-flow diagram, the fields that are redacted or tokenised before any external call, and a self-hosted option where nothing may leave. That is easier to approve, and far cheaper than retrofitting a boundary after an audit finding.
Paperwork from the port and the claims desk
Shipping and insurance documents arrive as scans, email attachments and phone photos, with stamps over the text and layouts that change by issuer. We build extraction that returns a confidence score for each field and sends the uncertain ones to a person, so a wrong container number or claim amount is caught at review rather than at the terminal or in a dispute.

Scope
What we build
Project delivery, owned end to end, for Karachi clients.
- Transaction anomaly and fraud-signal models for banks, EMIs and wallets, with reasons an analyst can act on
- Onboarding document extraction for CNICs, utility bills and business documents, with per-field confidence and manual review
- Complaint classification and routing across Urdu, Roman Urdu and English, with priority flags for the cases your policies treat as urgent
- Extraction of bills of lading, commercial invoices and packing lists straight into your freight or clearing system
- Claims document reading for health and motor insurance, matching bills to policy terms for an adjuster to confirm
- Order forecasting for FMCG distributors at shop and route level, feeding stock and order-booker planning

What else we build in Karachi
AI Development in Karachi: common questions
Do you have an office in Karachi?
No. We are based in Islamabad and serve Karachi from there, in the same timezone, with rupee invoicing and a Pakistani contract. Most of the work runs over calls and inside your own tooling. Where a bank, insurer or logistics operator wants a design review or security walkthrough on site, we fly down for it.
Can you work within State Bank requirements on outsourcing and data?
We design systems that make your compliance review straightforward, but we do not interpret regulations for you. In practice that means documenting exactly which data goes where, keeping customer identifiers out of any external model call, and offering a self-hosted deployment where one is needed. Your compliance function decides what is acceptable, and we build to that decision.
Is it cheaper to host our own model?
Sometimes. At low volume a hosted API is usually cheaper than servers and the people to run them. At the volume of a large bank or distributor, a self-hosted open-weight model can win, and it keeps data in-house. We compare both in rupees at your expected volume, including the backup power and cooling that on-premises hardware needs in Karachi, before recommending either.
How accurate is extraction from shipping documents?
It depends on the documents, which is why we measure before quoting a figure. Clean digital PDFs extract well. Photographed pages, stamps across fields and handwritten corrections do not. We test on a sample of your real documents, report accuracy per field, and design the review step around the fields that matter most, such as container numbers, HS codes and weights.
Can a model understand complaints written in Roman Urdu?
Yes, with work. Customers switch between Urdu and English mid-sentence, spell the same word several ways, and mix product names, account terms and frustration in one message. We label a set of your real complaints, train and test on them, and send anything the model is unsure about to a person, so an urgent case does not sit in the wrong queue.
AI development in Karachi?
Tell us what you are building. We work with Karachi clients from our Islamabad office, same timezone and same currency, with no account manager in between, so the person who reads this is the one who would run the work.
- 01A senior engineer reads it. Not a form queue, and not an account manager.
- 02We reply either with questions or with a straight answer that we are not the right fit.
- 03If it looks like a fit, a technical call with the person who would actually run the delivery.
- 04Then scope, effort and risk in writing, before anyone signs anything.
