Cloud engineering in Lahore
We take the cloud setups Lahore product teams and brands actually run on, often built in a hurry and never written down, and make them reproducible, affordable and ready for the hour traffic jumps. Delivered from Islamabad, in your timezone and invoiced in rupees.

Cloud Engineering for Lahore
Lahore has one of the busiest software markets in the country, and a lot of its infrastructure was set up against a deadline. A developer opened an AWS or Azure account, launched servers from the console, and moved on to the next client. What is left behind is familiar: a root login shared in a WhatsApp group, a staging server that no longer resembles production, and a monthly bill nobody decided on. The city's wariness of the cheap build that nobody can maintain applies to infrastructure as much as to code, and fixing it starts with finding out what is really running.
Who you sell to changes how the dollar bill feels. A software exporter billing clients abroad earns in the same currency the cloud provider charges, so the pressure is on margin. A fashion label, a restaurant group or a private school chain earning in rupees carries the whole exchange-rate risk: when the rupee weakens, hosting costs more with no change in traffic. The engineering answer differs too. An exporter often needs regions close to its customers in Europe, North America or the Gulf, while a brand selling across Punjab usually wants a Gulf region for latency and a setup sized to its real traffic.
Then there is launch hour. When a lawn collection goes live or a food brand runs a promotion, traffic can multiply within minutes and fall away just as fast. Running large servers all year for those peaks is how bills get out of hand; letting the site fall over mid-launch sends the sale to a competitor. We build for elasticity and load-test against the real launch pattern before the day. We work from Islamabad, a motorway drive or a short flight from Lahore, so a working session in your office can be arranged whenever a decision needs one.

What is specific
Built for Lahore
From console clicks to code
Infrastructure clicked together in a console cannot be reviewed, repeated or handed over. We inventory what exists, remove shared logins, give each person the access their job needs, and rebuild the setup as code with matching production and staging environments. The next developer, yours or anyone else's, can read it, change it safely and rebuild it from scratch if a region or account ever has to change.
Exporter or rupee earner
The right region and the right cost strategy depend on where your revenue comes from and where your users sit. For exporters we place workloads near their clients and keep the cost per customer visible. For rupee earners we shrink the dollar footprint: idle environments off at night, oversized databases right-sized, and long-term commitments made only on load that has proved steady.
Load-tested for launch day
A collection launch or a sale hour concentrates a week of traffic into minutes. We put catalogue pages behind a CDN and cache, protect the checkout and database from the rush, scale out automatically and scale back once the crowd has gone. Then we rehearse it with a load test shaped like your last launch, so the weak point turns up in rehearsal, not in front of your customers.

Scope
What we build
Project delivery, owned end to end, for Lahore clients.
- An audit of your existing cloud accounts: what is running, what it costs, who has access and whether the backups actually restore
- Infrastructure rebuilt as code, with production and staging environments that genuinely match
- Region and architecture choices matched to where your users are, whether in Punjab, the Gulf or with overseas clients
- Autoscaling, caching and CDN configuration load-tested against a collection launch or sale hour before it happens
- CI/CD pipelines so a release no longer depends on one developer's laptop and memory
- Cost reduction for rupee-earning businesses: idle environments switched off, oversized instances right-sized, commitments only where usage is steady

What else we build in Lahore
Cloud Engineering in Lahore: common questions
Do you have an office in Lahore?
No. Yarqat has a single office, in E-11 Islamabad, and Lahore clients are served from it. Cloud work happens in shared consoles, repositories and calls, so a shared timezone matters more than a shared city. For a kick-off workshop or a migration weekend we can come to you, since Lahore is a motorway drive or a short flight away. Contracts are Pakistani and invoices are in rupees.
Our cloud setup was built by a developer who has since left. Where do you start?
With access, because that is where the immediate risk sits. We rotate keys, retire shared logins, switch on multi-factor authentication and make sure the accounts belong to your company. Then we map what is running and what it costs, check the backups by restoring them, and bring the setup under code in stages, without a risky big-bang rebuild.
We export software. Should our servers be in the Gulf?
Only if your users are nearby. Servers belong close to the people using the product, so an exporter with clients in the UK or the US usually hosts in or near those markets, and some client contracts specify where their data may sit. Your team working from Lahore does not change that. A Gulf region makes sense when your users are in Pakistan or the Middle East.
Can our site survive a lawn launch without paying for peak capacity all year?
That is exactly what elastic infrastructure is for. Cached catalogue pages and a CDN absorb most of the rush, the checkout and database are protected from it, and capacity scales out for the launch and back in afterwards. We rehearse it with a load test modelled on your real traffic, so you know where the limit is before your customers find it.
How much can you cut from our cloud bill?
We will not quote a percentage before we have looked, because any number given blind is a sales line. The usual sources of waste are easy to check: staging running around the clock, oversized databases, storage and snapshots nobody deletes, logs kept forever and data transfer nobody designed. You see the findings and the likely saving for each before anything is changed.
Cloud engineering in Lahore?
Tell us what you are building. We work with Lahore clients from our Islamabad office, same timezone and same currency, with no account manager in between, so the person who reads this is the one who would run the work.
- 01A senior engineer reads it. Not a form queue, and not an account manager.
- 02We reply either with questions or with a straight answer that we are not the right fit.
- 03If it looks like a fit, a technical call with the person who would actually run the delivery.
- 04Then scope, effort and risk in writing, before anyone signs anything.
